No problem, just send me (Mike) a Conversation message and I'll get you sorted, by which I mean hammered-into-obedient-line because I'm SO about having a lot of individuality-destroying, oppressive shit all over my forum.

Some of John Powell's score for Ferdinand

Discussion in 'Score Study Resources' started by Mike Marino, Dec 6, 2017.

  1. John Powell has been releasing some video teasers on his Facebook page for Ferdinand. Here's a couple minutes of one of the Ferdinand cues with score.

  2. A couple of take-aways for me with this score:
    * The woodwind orchestration to get that wonderful Spanish sound ~0:55.
    * The punch and crispiness of those muted trombones calling to the trumpets ~1:30.
