    I have been watching some masterclasses back to back the last couple of days, and today I found my self starting to transcribe some stuff out of the blue.
    What mind trick is this?

    That is just the effect of witnessing Mike transcribing on the fly like it aint no thing and thus wanting to harness some of that dark power.

    I like hearing this. I swear I absent-mindedly transcribe something almost every single day. The more you do, the faster you get!

    Yes, pretty much true. Just for instance, today I was transcribing a few bars from the maintheme of "Father of the bride" (Silvestri). Funny that I realised that the first 3 suspended chords in the intro are somehow the same progression as the intro for the dallas theme :D
