Black Friday, save me!!

    Shit!

    I've completed my template, tweaked my EQ's, balanced my panning, made my template look REALLY pretty. Watched loads of Mikes Video's, taken notes, but now....

    ......I have to compose something!?!?

    Unless I just wait till Black Friday and buy some more libraries, which will require inserting, balancing panning, tweaking EQ's, making pretty etc etc.

    Yes, perhaps that's the right thing to do :)

    If you've really watch that many of Mike's videos you know he's gonna tell you ... do the damn thing on two-handed piano first. Start with a simple idea, then develop it. Create your entire piece on piano. As soon as it's taking shape, you can write it down on a sheet of paper (or your favorite notation program, if you will.) Orchestrate it according to how you played it on piano. And .. finally .. if you think it turned out nice .. perform it in your DAW template.
