    Hey Everyone!

    I was planning on writing a more classical piece of music for my next post but ended up hating how it was turning out and somehow came up with this instead. Not 100% sure if the structure is okay so I'm interested to see if anyone points out the parts I'm worried about.

    Also, I'm looking for ideas for the instrumentation so if anyone knows of some pieces with this kind of vibe that I could transcribe please let me know.

    Apologies in advance for the performance on this one, the velocity of the notes can be a bit all over the place but hopefully you like the vibe I'm trying to go for here.

    Sorry that I can not say anything to the structure, but I am just a hobbyist loving music without any musical education (except youtube wisdom ;))
    But while listening to your piece first thing which come up into my mind was: 80s disco funk. So I asked google for "typical funky instrumental 80s songs" and the second entry was this:

    which to me (as a listener without analyzing anything just listening) is the vibe you transported to me. Time to unpack your Simmons drums library ;-)
