No problem, just send me (Mike) a Conversation message and I'll get you sorted, by which I mean hammered-into-obedient-line because I'm SO about having a lot of individuality-destroying, oppressive shit all over my forum.

(fixed) Fri Jan 11 live stream test - problem

Discussion in 'Info, Requests, etc.' started by Paul Battersby, Jan 12, 2019.

  1. Not sure where to post this but, @Mike Verta , before beginning your live stream today (sat Jan 12) you might need to perform another test and check the upload to Youtube because the live stream test from last night has the audio and video FAR out of sync when saved on YouTube. It was fine when I was watching it live last night.

  2. Yes I noticed that too though the live stream itself was in synch.

  3. I have absolutely no idea what I would do about that, but we are recording the stream locally, so if it's truly atrocious we may be able to upload it after the fact.

  4. That's good! When I watched the stream on your channel earlier today, it was only 2 hours long, but the sync was fine. Now it seems to have the full length, but it is waaay out of sync.

I've bought beer and chips to watch some of the stream live, but I'll have to go to bed at some point if it's gonna be 12 hours long, and watch the rest once it's online on youtube.

The video for the live stream test appears to be about 20 seconds behind the audio. Will you be able to upload a synced version from a local recording of that test stream? Being 5 hours long, I figure there are things worth watching in there.

EDIT: The audio/video sync issues seem to be fixed now.
