  2. This is fucking awesome! I'm currently in the train going up through the Blue Mountains region (Sydney) and as soon as I pressed play, looking out the window, suddenly everything looked different and I was on a fantastic adventure!

  6. Very nice! Did you change the panning? Because I don't remember the players being placed like that in the room.
     
  7. Yes just for listening's sake, the trumpets are on the right, trombones and tuba spread across the center and horns on the left.
     
  8. Sounds cool - How did you achieve that without having issues with the room mics? Or is it only close mics?
     
  9. There is only a kiss of the room mics in there and I Haas panned and them a little bit just to push them to the sides, plus used some mid-side shaping to clear the center.
     
  10. The fact that the panning was changed and no phasing issues arised seems unreal to me. I know this must be very basic engineering and mic placement 101 but is there a map of the setup from the class that we can make? Maybe some of the more tech oriented guys can recognize the mics from the video?
